The pre-requisite for applying "Graduate Library Borrower's Ticket" or "Sports Permit Card" is the membership for either at the FHKPUAA or the HK Polytechnic University Graduate Visa card issued Bank of East Asia.

- Are there any differences between FHKPUAA and AAs member?
AAs are individual alumni association while FHKPUAA puts all the existing alumni associations of the University under one umbrella.
The two memberships are not linked together yet membership of your AA is a prerequisite for the application of the Federation of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University Alumni Associations (Federation) Card (the Card).
- How long does it take to apply for the FHKPUAA card?
The application process usually takes four to six weeks for AAs which have joined the "Unified Membership Application Scheme"; and take six to eight weeks for AAs which have not joined the "Unified Membership Application Scheme". All applicants will receive the FHKPUAA card by surface mail.

- Can AAs/alumni book the university's function rooms for meeting or gathering purpose?
All alumni associations (AAs) can apply for the use of the function rooms for various activities (e.g. meetings, seminars, conferences and exhibitions) of non-profit making nature. Bookings for activities on commercial, sensitive, controversial and/or political nature are not entertained. The booking request and usage should be made in the name of AA ONLY and NO INDIVIDUAL applications will be accepted. On-line Booking forms are available at the Section of "Download Form".
