Honouring nine distinguished alumni at the Award Presentation Ceremony and Dinner of Outstanding PolyU Alumni Award 2019

On 30 April 2019, PolyU presented the "Outstanding Alumni Award 2019" to nine alumni at the award presentation ceremony and dinner at Hotel ICON. The award recipients are (in alphabetical order of last name): Mr Chu Chen-on, Dr Herman Lau Mun-cheung, Sr Lau Ping-cheung, GBS, JP, Ir Arthur Lee Kam-hung, Mr Alex Lui Chun-wan, Mr Elton Ng Chun-ting, Mrs Natalia Seng Sze Ka-mee, Mr Dominic Tam Jo-tak and Mr Marcellus Wong Yui-keung.
Jointly organised by PolyU and the Federation of PolyU Alumni Associations, the biennial "Outstanding PolyU Alumni Award" aims at honouring outstanding graduates of PolyU and its forerunners for their distinguished professional accomplishments and significant contributions to the community and their alma mater. Over the years, PolyU and its forerunners have sent forth more than 400,000 graduates. Launched in late 1996 and now came to the eleventh time, a total of 82 distinguished alumni in various professions have been honoured in the award selection.
