The Federation of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University Alumni Associations (FHKPUAA) held its Annual General Meeting and elected its new Board of Directors (2025-2027) on 5 February 2026. The Officers were elected in the subsequent Board of Directors Meetings. They are: |

Dr Darron Sun President The Computing Alumni Association of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (CAA) Mathematics and Statistics, Information Systems and MBA graduate
Dr Sun is a senior IT leader with deep expertise in fintech, proptech, cybersecurity, and internal audit across the public and financial sectors. A recipient of PolyU’s FENG and COMP Outstanding Alumni awards, he has earned prestigious industry honours, including the World CIO200 and CIO100 Asia. He holds multiple professional certifications and actively contributes his expertise through leadership roles across various professional and community organizations.

Mr Dominic Tse Siu-kei Vice President (Communications) Alumni Association of Electronic and Information Engineering, PolyU (AAEIE) Technology Management and Electronic and Information Engineering graduate
Mr Tse is a dedicated alumni leader and technology management professional who has made significant contributions to both the student and alumni communities. A recipient of PolyU’s EIE Outstanding Young Alumni Award, he currently serves as Chairman of the AAEIE and Honorary Advisor of the HKCCAA. Having served for over a decade as Director of the FHKPUAA, and its 1st Vice President from 2021 to 2023, he continues to contribute to the Association's leadership, reflecting his steadfast commitment to PolyU.

Mr Calvin Yuen Chi-kin Vice President (Development) The Hong Kong Polytechnic University School of Hotel & Tourism Management Alumni Association (SHTMAA) Hotel and Tourism Management graduate
Mr Yuen is a hospitality leader with extensive experience across operations and corporate strategy. In addition to his PolyU Hotel Management degree, he holds a Cornell Master Certificate and an EHL MBA. He has managed Michelin-starred operations and currently serves as Assistant Vice President at an international hotel management company, driving global F&B strategy and transformation. A PolyU's SHTM Outstanding Young Alumni Awardee and Chairman of the SHTMAA, Mr Yuen actively mentors students and contributes to the industry through stewardship of education fund and service on hospitality association committees.

Ms Audrey Lin Shuming Vice President (Engagement) The Hong Kong Polytechnic University Department of Chinese Culture Alumni Association (POLYUCCAA) Chinese Culture graduate
Ms Lin is an Associate Division Director at a financial service platform and holds the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) qualification. With her expertise in financial planning and services, she successfully bridges cultural insights with professional leadership in her industry. A dedicated member of the POLYUCCAA, Ms Lin joins the FHKPUAA Board this term to further contribute to alumni development and community building.

Ir Prof. Johnny Fan Vice President (Membership) The Hong Kong Polytechnic University Building Association (HKPUBA) Structural Engineering graduate
Ir Prof. Fan is a distinguished construction leader, Adjunct Professor, and University Fellow with a deep and enduring commitment to PolyU. His exceptional contributions have been recognized with PolyU's BRE and CEE Outstanding Alumni Award as well as the Outstanding PolyU Alumni Award. A key figure in the early development of the FHKPUAA, he served as its 1st Vice Chairman upon its formation in 1995 and has continuously championed alumni initiatives ever since. As part of the FHKPUAA leadership, he has led multiple sub-committees. He currently serves as President of the HKPUBA. Having also served on the PolyU Council since 2007, Ir Prof. Fan continues to dedicate his expertise to strengthen the alumni community and advancing the University’s continued success.

Ms Cheuk is a distinguished business advisor and Human Resources expert with extensive experience across diverse organizations, including Fortune 500 companies, MNCs, public listed companies, and technology startups-up. Complemented by her credentials as a Corporate Coach and Facilitator in Talent Development and Human Behavior, she is widely recognized as a trusted business partner with exceptional commercial acumen. Dedicated to driving both business success and development of individuals, Ms Cheuk actively applies her expertise to foster professional growth and leadership. |

Ms Karen Tam Ka-ying Honorary Treasurer The Community College Alumni Association, PolyU (HKCCAA) HKCC and MBA graduate
Ms Tam specializes in audit and compliance, focusing on corporate governance, internal controls, risk management, and ethical practices. She proudly serves as President of the HKCCAA, spending over a decade strengthening alumni–college engagement and building valuable community connections. Serving as a mentor at PolyU Business School and CPCE, Ms Tam actively engages with students to foster their professional and personal development. Beyond her professional and alumni commitments, Ms Tam is an avid traveler and sports enthusiast who enjoys badminton, table tennis, and pickleball, always eager to meet new people and explore new places. |
